I was looking for a restaurant in the area, and when I got there I was a bit surprised it was in a hotel, I didn’t know what to expect. However, this restaurant was absolutely amazing. The service was fantastic, the decoration was very nice, and first and foremost, the food was absolutely incredible. My mom and I had the massaman curry and coconut rice, both were delicious! My husband and children had different types of rice noodles, also excellent. This was my favorite Thai restaurant so far and the best food I had this week in London.

The restaurant is tucked away on the first floor of the Royal Lancaster London Hotel. You enter through the elegant marble foyer, head up the stairs, and turn right. It sets the tone beautifully. We were greeted warmly by the manager and shown to a window table overlooking Hyde Park. Our 18:30 reservation meant the restaurant was still quiet, with only one other table occupied, a perfect start. The menu is broad but not overwhelming. I chose the chicken and coconut soup, chicken stir-fry, and mango sorbet for dessert. Every dish was exceptional, the best Thai food I’ve had anywhere. Service was attentive without being intrusive. The team clearly know what they’re doing and let the food speak for itself. The whole experience reflects the setting, refined, calm, and just the right side of luxurious. Excellent food, excellent staff. I’ll definitely be back, and would highly recommend you book a table too.

This review is based on my experience at the restaurant on my previous birthday. I have got a warmly welcome upon arrival and was seated at the table I requested for. Food is hot and well presented. However, the signature dish seemed to be not beautifully outstanding as before. Nevertheless, we are totally satisfied and highly appreciated by the service provided. Highly recommended.

My wife and I came here based on recommendation. We are staying at the hotel and someone that did not work for the hotel informed us that the hotel owner was from Thailand and opened the restaurant for his wife so it was authentic. This was my first experience with thai food and I was not disappointed. My wife had the chicken pad thai, she's had a lot of pad thai she said it was on par with the best she's had. I had the Pad kra pao with chicken. It was nice and spicy yet not so much that it overpowered the flavor. For appetizers we had the peanut chicken rice dumplings, they were excellent. One of the staff suggested I try a bit of the chili that was on the plate with some of the lettuce and herbs. That was a great suggestion, the heat snuck up on me but it still did not mask the mix of flavors. We were told the chilis were imported from Thailand which was why they were so hot, I loved the authentic experience. For dessert we had the coconut ice cream, it came in a coconut shell and was the best coconut ice cream I've ever had. The texture from the coconut flakes were still there, it tasted as though it was made in house with the coconuts. It's worth going even if you aren't staying in the hotel.
